Using the
right photograph is a powerful way to get your message across.
Once the client and designer have agreed on the purpose of the photo,
they are ready to call or meet with the photographer to set a schedule
for the photo shoot.
For best results, make sure the photographer knows:
Who is the intended audience (age, gender, region)
What are you trying to show them (a product, an emotion, a situation)
How is this image going to be used (the designer's layout)
Are there any previously created materials that the photographer needs
to be aware of for campaign or product image continuity
Is there anything that SHOULD NOT be shown
Is there a
preferred view
Be open to your photographer's creative input. The collaboration of
designer and photographer can bring spectacular results.
